As a person with naturally long lashes, mascaras are the thing I love and horde the most in my makeup collection. Getting sent the new mascara from Kate Moss had me excited since I love her lipstick line.

I didn’t curl my lashes any and no primer was used. This is two coats straight from the tube.

The color I was sent was jet black. The formula isn’t too wet and you can get great coverage. The broken heart shaped brush is a different story. If you want full coverage from root to tip, it will be bit of a learning curve. Typically I use two mascaras, one for volume/fullness and another one for length, so the brush shape doesn’t bother me too much. I wore it for about 7 hours and I had no flakiness or fallout. It also didn’t smear on me at all. Removal was interesting as I used a makeup wipe and it took a bit to get it all off.

Pros: Pigmented, long lasting without flaking or fallout, and gave some volume.

Cons: The brush has a learning curve. Slight clumpiness.

Going forward, I’ll probably use this in combination with another mascara (Clump Crusher) by using this on just the tips and using CC from the root up. The formula is nice and the brush is good for just the ends of the lashes, just not down to the roots.

You can purchase this mascara anywhere Rimmel products are sold. Some stores might now have it yet, but I did see it in my local Walgreens just this past weekend! It retails for $6.99.
